Amazing pattern of rutile needles in this Copper Rutile Quartz cabochon.
I see a ring or a beautiful necklace made out of it because even if it is a freeform cab it's shape gives way to symetric creations for sure.
Note: on the front it holds some little holes that we coud not get out because of the rutile inclusions.
Copper Rutilated Quartz is a crystal that is embedded with needle-like copper rutile.
Rutile is a Latin word means reddish color.
