About Mother-of-Pearl

Mother-of-pearl is the iridescent inner layer secreted by bivalve mollusks —oysters, mussels, and abalones— to coat their shells. This microscopic layered structure of aragonite produces the characteristic iridescence of the material. In its natural state, it is beige-white or creamy in color. The orange color of these pieces is obtained through synthetic dye: the material is natural, the color is not. We always declare the treatments applied.

Yes. The 1 mm hole accepts 0.6-0.8 mm wire. For 1 mm wire, it may require slight enlargement with a 1.2 mm drill bit.
