Rose Quartz
Rose quartz is the most well-known variety of macrocrystalline quartz. Its color — from pale to intense pink — comes from microscopic inclusions of dumortierite or rutile fibers distributed throughout the crystal mass. Brazil is the world's largest producer; the deposits in Minas Gerais yield highly translucent pieces. Unlike rose quartz from Madagascar — which tends to be more intense and with greater clarity — Brazilian rose quartz is more milky and uniform.
In crystal tradition, rose quartz is associated with heart energy and tenderness. It is one of the most commonly used minerals for pocket amulets since antiquity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the color fade over time?
Rose quartz exposed to prolonged direct sunlight may lose color intensity slightly. Store in a place without direct sun exposure.
Can I choose the pieces in the lot?
The pair is sent randomly. If you have a preference for tone (more intense or paler pink), please write to us and we will manage it.
Are these pieces genuine or synthetic?
They are natural rose quartz with no detectable treatment. Synthetic rose quartz has an absolutely uniform color and a much lower price per carat — easy to distinguish.
What are they used for in jewelry?
For pendants with a drilled bail, macrame pieces, crystal grids, or as a pocket stone. The size (2-3 cm) is ideal for all these uses.
How are they cared for?
Wash with lukewarm water and neutral soap if necessary. Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure. More at Jewelry Care.
